Like you were saying, I was faking my way through and I kept feeling like they're gonna eventually figure out that I'm an idiot and fire me or I'm gonna get run out of this job.
I really believed that subconsciously.
And it took probably until I was in my late 40s where I would say to my wife, I'd get a deal done or something good would happen financially or professionally.
I'd be like, yes.
I'm like, oh God, man, I could never get a deal done like that again.
And I go, I gotta make this money less.
And she's like...
Since I've known you, every time you get something good done, you think it's lucky.
If you win a race, you think you will know all the competitors that showed up stink.
There was always a reason.
She's like, at some point you should believe that like you actually have some acumen to do these things.
And recently I've started to accept.
