And for a woman with Dee Dee's history, the bad checks, the schemes, and the lifelong talent for getting what she wanted, a chronically ill daughter wasn't just an identity, it was now an income.
So let's talk about her daughter, Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
Now, by every meaningful measure, Gypsy was a healthy baby.
But almost from the beginning, her mother was telling doctors otherwise.
And it started really small.
And that's kind of important to understand.
