I think he's ready to prove that even at 40 years old, he can go out there and compete every single day.

Yeah, absolutely.

I think especially for pitchers specifically, they have such regiments at all seasons, you know, when they start, you know, long tossing, when they get off a mound, all of these different things that kind of they build themselves up to spring training and into the regular season and beyond.

Obviously, Max had that surgery in December of last year.

It really did kind of halt him.

He struggled at the end of obviously 2023 during the World Series.

He was placed on the injured list, I think, after game four of the World Series.

The Rangers ended up having to replace him on the roster.

So he was going through a lot of things last year that I don't think he ever fully got healthy, obviously, going up to December when he had that surgery and then coming into spring training.

He spent a couple of weeks, honestly, at home, not even surprised with the team, just kind of trying to get his body right.

So I think

especially for an older guy like Max, I think a really healthy offseason, just coming in, being able to go into spring training fully healthy can do wonders for a guy like him, for sure.

Yeah, I think that's a real great way to put it, that his stuff is still there.

I know you mentioned the fastball velo was down a couple of ticks.

I mean, I think in all of his starts, I don't know if it ever got back to where it was in 2023, but, um, all of those secondary pitches looked really good.

And I mean, he had a, he had a, I think three, three, nine ERA this season.

And those, I think nine starts that he ended up making, um,

I think he, there is stuff left in the tank, like I've been saying.

I think he's a guy that knows his body, like I said, and he knows how to pitch.
