Or as much as we hate the word, just so you know, Lisa, we hate the word sales.

And do you think that fear that you're talking about, does it keep people from following best practices and cause them to sound more like a salesperson?
Because that's what I see.

See, and I love that.
And I think the main reason a lot of audiologists either go into private practice or they continue to do what we do is because we've always got that patient that we always remember.
Like I remember the man who had cancer and nobody would fit him with hearing aids.
And I did, even though he had a year left to live.
And his family came back and said, you changed his life.
He was so engaging the last year he was alive.
That's what I remember the most.
That's what kept me coming back to the clinic every day when I was in the clinic.
