Maybe because of the the pressure that's on the players away from the football side, they could have lent on him a little bit.
Um just being around it.
Look, uh m again, it you you don't give free caps out.
I'd I've never never ever been in favour of that.
But I think he would have been a good soundbite for that group of players going in
Into this window all in and he would have been perfect, I feel, to bridge the gap of what the players are thinking to the coach and and everything that goes with that.
And maybe even to the media side as well, that they could have even put put Coleman in front of the media.
Not and look, it that's not the only reason why Seamus Coleman is there.
We know that.
We know that the ability that he's got and the galvanizing effect that he has on the players, but it might have been a good
Bridge all round, players to media, coaches to players, and and everything that goes with that.
It might have been.
I don't know.
I I think f personally, yes, that there would probably be some form of anger, disappointment that um that the Israel games are going ahead in the first place.
But but more so a lot of sympathy.
I I feel for the for the players.
I know the FAI have put um almost like a media ban until what post game uh uh around the uh the Kosovo games.
And and maybe you'd have to say that that's that that's the correct decision.

Um and maybe rightly so as well.
