So when you consider this international break and the fact that two of these games are going to be against Israel, have you got this sense of resignation that this has happened? Everybody get on with it, or is there still a a fair bit of anger in terms of your own emotions around this?
I I think f personally, yes, that there would probably be some form of anger, disappointment that um that the Israel games are going ahead in the first place. But but more so a lot of sympathy. I I feel for the for the players. I know the FAI have put um almost like a media ban until what post game uh uh around the uh the Kosovo games. And and maybe you'd have to say that that's that that's the correct decision. players constantly being asked questions and how they feel around the game, which by and large, from what I've seen, they've managed to stay clear from. Um and maybe rightly so as well. They they they've got to tr concentrate on the job at hand. They've just got to just try to to to get themselves prepared as best he can.
With the circus, look, if that's the correct term, it probably isn't. But certainly with the noise around these games and this window in particular, it's I can only imagine that they're they're quite happy not to be uh approached or not to to have any sort of access at this stage because you can only imagine the questions that's going their way. And every single time that that the Heimer held Or whether it be any of his coaching staff, the players, anytime they've been asked questions on it, there's a headline being written about things away from the game itself and and their job itself is just to try to concentrate on winning football matches. And that is not the priority through this window, as as we can clearly see.

No, I don't I don't believe that they should shoulder responsibility personally. That's that's how I feel about it. Um the players are vulnerable, absolutely vulnerable with the position that they've been left in. That's the way that I would see it. Um this draw has was made a a a good while ago now at this stage, Owen. We know that these games have been on the horizon for a very, very long time. And I believe that decisions could have been made a long time ago to To protect the players that are exposing themselves. And the coach and his coaching staff, they're all exposing themselves. They're the ones that's going to have to go out onto the field and be visible, like the coaches, like Halgamson is.
