So there's your risk, right?
Like there's your risk.
It didn't hurt you much, but let's be honest, the difference between top three and six overall for a team that's rebuilding, you know, that could be the difference between it's, it's, it's bingo balls to land you land in DuPont.
That's what we're talking about there.
But for anyone that says get rid of them, that's too good a goaltending, I'll go counter two.
I understand the need for it.
And I think I don't want to be dismissive of it.
I don't think we should be dismissive of it.
You have a very young group, very young defensive group that will quickly lose confidence.
If they feel like every mistake they make ends up in the back of the net, there is real value in having goaltending that other, that the rest of the team builds trust in, especially as you're trying to get them to buy in defensively.
Like,
Connor Hellebuck, when he won the Hart and the Vesna, had the highest or one of the top three expected save percentage in the league.
In other words, he had one of the easiest defensive environments.
It was 9-0-3.
And he won the Hart.
He still had a great season.
He outperformed it.
But he had one of the easiest environments in the entire league.
I think you actually give him credit for that.
Because when you have a guy that makes all the saves, if you know that if I do my job in this system, this guy is making that save, it becomes so much easier not to cheat the system or to deviate from it.
