When you are in the companionate phase, things such as falling into routines and not, and letting, sweeping things under the rug starts to happen.
So the things just as a high level, you know, high level like tips,
to get through that is being friends first and foremost will carry the relationship.
It's going to be actually critical to the relationship.
Doing new things has been proven.
When you do new things with your partner, it stimulates the brain in a different way.
You're, you're, uh,
You're getting out of the old pattern.
So doing new things with your partner will also make you feel closer to them.
Getting through conflict, high conflict, coming back, having apologies, having empathy, understanding the other person, seeing that they care, that makes you feel closer.
And so for couples who have kind of fallen into this sort of place,
By the way, which is very common, I can't tell you how many couples tell me, we haven't had sex in 10 years.
We sleep in separate bedrooms.
Yeah, we're just kind of raising the kids.
We've just kind of accepted that.
How you want to be in a relationship is up to you.
All right.
Thank you, Mike.
It's been a pleasure.
