She was officially going to spend the rest of her life with him.

They quickly set a date for their wedding, April 11th of 2015, exactly 12 months to the day of their engagement.

It was going to be on a Saturday after the 2015 Easter weekend.

Stephanie's friends

It was the time in their lives when many of them were getting married themselves, and she was always happy to share in their happiness, but now it was Stephanie's turn.

By early 2015, Stephanie was a bridesmaid for her very good friend Beck Welsh's wedding, and she spent a lot of time daydreaming about her own big day, which by that time was coming up in just a matter of months.

Being a highly organized person, Stephanie threw herself into wedding planning.

She had a very clear creative vision for the entire celebration and just the way she wanted it.

Over a hundred guests, including some from overseas, were invited to a picturesque country venue.

It was called Eat Your Grains in the small town of Ugaura, just 25 minutes from where Stephanie had grown up.

Her color scheme was black and bronze, and that reflected in her invitations.

There were going to be terracotta pots that would serve as table centerpieces with the names of all the guests on each table painted on the side in flowing script.

For songs for the couple, their first dance had already been chosen.

It was Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban.

And Stephanie and Aaron had diligently been attending weekly dance lessons to prepare.

And in March, Stephanie had her own bachelorette party, a wine tour around the Canberra region.

She updated her profile picture, showing herself in a cute white dress, a veil, and a pink bride-to-be sash.

Her long, dark hair was flowing over her shoulders, and everything was coming together.
