So we started looking at the spore strains and said, Okay, number one, are they naturally occurring?
occurring in the gut, in the microbiome, right?
Mm-hmm.
And you and we find that there's tons of studies that support that.
We worked with Royal Holloway University of London and they did a lot of work showing that spore based bacteria are naturally occurring in the gut.

Because spores are fairly ubiquitous.
In this beautiful outdoor area that you have around you, you probably have spores all over the soil and all that.
But most of them probably wouldn't be able to function in the gut.
