More optimistic about on paper.

I think it's the depth of our team.

I I really feel

you know, right through all four lines, our our D Cor, goaltending.

I just feel like we're an extremely deep team and, you know, going through the going through camp and heading into the preseason now it's it's evident that where the depth is with how many decisions we're gonna have to make on on player personnel for for the year and it's gonna be it's gonna be tough to make those decisions, but at the same time when you're in a position of of power and a position of having that much depth in your group

Um it's a good problem to have, but certainly it's gonna be

It's gonna be difficult to figure out who uh who we wanna keep here over the next six weeks.

Well this year for sure I feel like, you know, even eighteen and nineteen year old players that are first year guys are coming to the league now.

So it's I you know, every every player at sixteen and seventeen it seems now is you know, the majority of them are wanting to play in the CHL, wanting to play in the WHL and and s especially this year when when you think about adding a third import for every team.

Yeah.

Um and you're you know, you got eighteen year old, nineteen year old rookies that want to come

Come and you're getting every sixteen and seventeen year old now that was on your list that didn't you know, that some of them were long shots in the past.

So it certainly creates a little bit more of a logjam on a lot of the rosters.

And yeah, as you alluded to, there's been some some pretty high caliber talent that's uh decided to uh you know give N C double A a try to start the season and see how it goes.

But at the same time it's the amount of players I think that have been gained and the depth of teams' rosters and list strength

now.

I think it's a b huge area of strength for the league and I think

I think the league's in a stronger uh in a strong place in regards to depth and what what we have for players coming into the league.

You know, I think it is.

It's something we've always talked about, um that we're gonna have to keep an eye on and how players do.
