Yeah, you know, last week on um Wednesday teams were allowed to start check in for training camps and Thursday was kind of the first day we could be on ice with uh the players and so we went through majority of teams obviously running their training camps right through the long weekend. Most teams probably wrapping up Sunday, some going through the Monday. And uh yeah, today's kind of the first day past training camp heading into into the preseason with uh most teams between thirty and forty guys left on their preseason rosters.

You guys are at a little bit different place right now than you have been the last couple of years. You're one of the expected favorites this year at the Eastern Conference, aren't you?

Kirt Hill 2:42

Yeah, you know, it's a pretty optimistic year. I I would say that. It's on paper and as we know the guys are gonna have to go out there and and prove that uh you know, they are a group that can can do good things this year, but certainly an older group, uh a lot of experience in the league, um some playoff experience last year and and you know, when we talk as a staff and when you build a team as a manager with with Michael Chan and and his group as well, it's certainly a group that um More optimistic about on paper.

What is it uh that you know, what's the strongest area of strength do you envision for this year's Evanson Oil Kingship?

I think it's the depth of our team. I I really feel you know, right through all four lines, our our D Cor, goaltending. I just feel like we're an extremely deep team and, you know, going through the going through camp and heading into the preseason now it's it's evident that where the depth is with how many decisions we're gonna have to make on on player personnel for for the year and it's gonna be it's gonna be tough to make those decisions, but at the same time when you're in a position of of power and a position of having that much depth in your group Um it's a good problem to have, but certainly it's gonna be It's gonna be difficult to figure out who uh who we wanna keep here over the next six weeks.
