A large company here that has a very easily recognizable logo And it seems as though they could actually under this policy have city City facilities bear that logo and And that would actually not be something that I would want to see so I'm kind of curious about

IF THIS PARTICULAR ITEM, AND PERHAPS THE CITY MANAGER COULD ADDRESS THIS, IF IT COULD COME BACK WHERE WE LOOK AT WHAT THE CITIES, SURROUNDING CITIES ARE DOING WITH REGARDS TO BRANDING AND LOGOS, BECAUSE I'M SEEING THAT THEY DON'T ALLOW ANY OTHER LOGO ON THEIR CITY PROPERTIES THAN THE CITY LOGO.

I think this, I'm unprepared to either try to edit this on the dais or approve it at this time because of the concern for having

different businesses logos put on the property and it's not clear to me when they would be able to do that.

So if I were to, I see under the donation policy that I would donate something with no expectation to be able to put a logo and brand on it.

But we have this naming and branding policy, which I don't quite understand when that comes into play.

But just as a point of principle for the city, that if the city is going to have a logo placed anywhere on us, that it should be the city's logo.

So that this large company, for instance, isn't able to put their logo or branding on us.

So I don't know if there's an answer to that.

Yeah, that's a good question.

Two things I wanted to clarify.

The naming policy always, the authority for the approval of any of the naming always has been with the city council.

So there was nothing that would be placed without city council approval.

So that is not being changed.

So I wanted to clarify that.

but in terms of the donation policy, it always had a little sentence at the bottom that allowed for the council to add a commemorative plaque if they wanted to, and that always existed.
