But this is not a separate logo.

The naming policy appears to cover a separate recognition.

Beyond the donation, but this logo is on the object, donated object itself, and that's not covered in the current policies.

So maybe the staff can propose something next time when this comes back.

So any object that's donated to the city, are they allowed to have logo of the donated organization?

If so,

maybe how prominent it is.

Or if the recognition should be separately approved, a donation should just be a donation without the recognition, unless it's approved by the council.

That's something the staff can bring back some options to consider.

IF I LOOK AT THE NAMING WHERE IT TALKS ABOUT THE LOGO PLACEMENT, THE WAY THAT THE POLICY READS TO ME AS WE'RE PRESENTING TONIGHT IS ANY LOGO THAT'S PLACED ON CITY PROPERTY WOULD REQUIRE IT COMING TO COUNCIL IN APPROVAL.

but if there's further clarification that's required, I'm happy to either take direction now or if the direction is to come back, we're happy to do so.

Thank you, I do think we, one thing that's missing is having a limit for how long the

signage can be on city property.

I think if there were to be something like a pomegranate field, that we would, it almost gets to a place where I'd want to, if it's that significant, put it on the ballot and let the public decide about it.

Some of us are more sensitive than others about seeing signage put on public property because it's for the use of everyone.

And so when you have it used for perpetual advertising, that's particularly problematic.

In looking at the MOUs with regards to those particular bike racks, there was nothing in the MOU that said that they would be placing their branding on the item.
