So what happens when you put a tax on business?
What happens?
Business goes down.
The economy goes down.
And the reason, as you say, the reason that all of this is happening is, and more and more taxes will carry on, is because we actually can't afford the lifestyle that we have.
We can't afford the welfare spending.
We can't afford to have millions of people not working.
We just can't.
There are some subjects where if you're going to do advanced mathematics or whatever, there's definitely some subjects that you would.
But Blair's idea that you need half the country to go to university to do fucking media studies.
We're at a strange moment where people are pouring their most private thoughts into AI.
Health issues, business ideas, political opinions, things you wouldn't even tell some of your friends.
And you're just meant to trust that none of this will be stored, analyzed, or eventually used against you because tech companies have always handled power responsibly.
