Like when I was on Question Time, the thing that actually shocked me the most was there was a point at which one of the panelists said, well, America is a democracy, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

And like a good third of the audience just openly laughed.

And I go, well, you probably don't like Donald Trump if you're acting that way.

Fair enough.

People are allowed to not like President Trump.

But he won the last election with winning the popular vote, the Electoral College, every swing stake.

I mean, it is a democracy.

Yeah.

But in their heads, they're so brainwashed into this way of thinking.

And then there was another girl who was like, oh, yeah, no, we shouldn't do business with America.

We need to do business with China.

but surely to christ you can have a disagreement about what they're saying you know well you know that the thing about ideology i always say ideology is how you know what to think about about things that you don't understand yeah about everything that's the but but especially about things you don't understand yeah it gives you a template for what you're supposed to believe about something as complicated as climate change right um and by the way that's an interesting one because um
