I empathize with a lot of the pro-Iranian activists and the Iranian protesters in Iran.
Let's call it what it is, man.
They were sold a lie.
They were told, rise up and your freedom is at hand.
But that was never actually on the table.
It was never going to happen.
The people of Iran are perfectly entitled to rise up and try and have the government that they want.
That's their right.
But for other people outside to effectively say to them, rise up and we will come and help you, and then not help them,
That's a whole different conversation.
And that is what happened.
