The World Health Organization says a suspected hantavirus outbreak on a cruise ship in the Atlantic has killed three people and sickened three others.

The UN Health Agency told the Associated Press an investigation was ongoing.

One of the patients has been moved to intensive care in South Africa.

Other people are being evacuated from the ship.

The Defense Department says that U.S.

Navy guided missile destroyers have transited the Strait of Hormuz and are now operating in the Persian Gulf.

It says two U.S.-flagged merchant vessels have also successfully transited the strait and are on their way.

President Trump said the U.S.

would do this as part of an effort called Project Freedom.

Iran has threatened to attack military ships operating in the strait.

Earlier today, the U.S.

military denied Iranian claims that it had hit a U.S.

Navy ship.

Meanwhile, Iran is reviewing a U.S.

response to its proposal to end the war.

That's according to Iran's foreign ministry.

Iran submitted its peace plan on Friday.
