The Pentagon says that two U.S.

service members are missing in Western Africa.

They were participating in training exercises in southern Morocco.

Defense Department officials say that a large search for the missing service members is now underway.

Another investigation is underway after a United Airlines jet struck a light pole and a tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike yesterday.

The plane was landing at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.

Three states say they have a new proposal to share water from the Colorado River.

This proposal would shore up dangerously low reservoirs while a long-term plan is worked out.

The three states are Nevada, California, and Arizona, with Arizona taking the biggest water cut.

The saved water would stay in Lake Mead, the biggest reservoir in the U.S.
