Even if you know a lot about Australia as an Australian, which you will do, knowing what's happening offshore is harder because you're off time zone.
You're not walking down the streets and seeing the same companies as you do here when you see ANZ and Westpac on the corners, etc., etc.,
your knowledge is just by virtue of distance, just less.
So rather than trying to pick companies offshore, you can use an ETF to get exposure to the FAANGs, technology, America, Europe, and that's just by region.
You can also do it by asset class.
So you can do equities or bonds or commodities, et cetera, et cetera.
So there's a very, very broad range of ways for investors to limit

Typically our investors are SMSF holders.
So, you know, they've taken ownership of some of their own direction on their future retirement or they might be retired.
Right.
So just for the simplicity of this, let's just assume that there are two types of investors.
There are,
retirees, people who are already retired, and their main motive is protection of their asset base because if they lose, they might have to come out of retirement, which is the worst possible scenario to have to go back to work in your mid-60s, 70s, etc.,
Or at the other spectrum, let's imagine someone who's like in their early 30s and beginning to say they have their superannuation coming in anyway and they need additional money.
They're looking for the future.
