Wealth funds putting money into the local ecosystem is very different from sovereign mu uh sovereign wealth funds having their pocket of money to put money elsewhere.
So you're kind of competing against the rest of the world in some sense.
There's more competition.
There's yeah.
So there's a bit of a question mark even for some of these local like VCs as well about whether or not they'll be able to raise money.
So but comparatively, in terms of like just pure mood wise, yeah, I do think Southeast Asia does
feel more like more of a dampened kind of because I you know here
there's not we've also come off the highs of twenty twenty twenty two one, which, you know, for me personally on hindsight is kind of interesting.
And I'm beginning to ask myself
Right.
I mean when I journeyed through the whole ecosystem, you know, growing with the ecosystem, that was my normal
But maybe that wasn't really normal at all.
If you think about it, right?
And then now when you come into this side of the market, this side of the cycle, I'm wondering like, is this actually the normal?
You know?
Um, which is an interesting thought.
I guess, you know, markets have ups and they have downs.
And there's definitely a bit of a reality check that's kind of like set into Southeast Asia now.
Whereas in the Middle East, you know, things are still in the boom, you know.
