And so in a lot of ways, the NRSC and some of these outside groups are doing the Democrats' job for them by just pummeling and bloodying Ken Paxton.
I mean, Cornyn's in the fight for his life.
He's an establishment.
He's as establishment as it gets here in Texas.
They're here forever.
He is your traditional George W. Bush Republican in leadership, former head of the NRSC.
And for that apparatus, for someone who had a seat at that table to be in this kind of peril from his own party, we haven't seen that play out before in a place like Texas.
And so whoever wins tonight is going to come in
With a tremendous amount of advantage, like as personal as it's gotten at times between Tallarico and Crockett, they've not spent nearly the amount of money going negative against each other as the Republican side of the equation has.
It's ice making a earthquake.
