Like I alluded to earlier, it's going to be a lot different, Bob.
Certainly, the NHL is... I've worked one year in the NHL, so I'm not going to come in and act like I know everything.
One of the things that's most exciting about it is getting the opportunity to work with Stan and Jeff and work with a lot of the different scouts because I feel like I can learn a lot from them and they can help me continue to grow as well.
as a hockey ops personnel, and hopefully we can help them continue to grow as staff members of the Edmonton Oilers as well.
But, I mean, like I said, one thing about being a major junior GM is you're thrown a lot of different situations, and I anticipate there being a lot of different situations that come up in the new role of being an assistant GM in the NHL.
But at the same time, I hope a lot of my experience there prepared me, and I'm excited to learn a lot of new ones as well.
Yeah we do and obviously this news is pretty fresh so it's something that I think we're starting the process on working through on what those lines of communication are going to look like and you know how we're going to communicate and collaborate on a daily basis but you're right there's lots of you know exciting members of staff and departments obviously the analytical department with Michael and his team and you know the strengths of Dom and
um brings brings to the group as well like there's there's so many resources now and um putting everybody's minds together and bringing fresh ideas to the table every day um i think gives us every opportunity to be a be a successful group kurt some people would have blocked slapshots in the new to have an opportunity to do what you've done here over the last nine years enjoy the run man appreciate that bob thanks for having me
