Unbelievable.
Yeah, exactly.
It and it seems slightly unfair.
Uh the other thing I would mention too is that if a an an individual has gotten placement in something, you know, say they've written an article and they've been able to place it on another site, and that costs them five hundred dollars or a thousand dollars, they're writing a very good article because they can't afford to write a spammy, gross AI article.
It needs to convert because that's affecting
Their bottom line, just getting the placement in the first place.
And so I would argue that most of that work that Google has gone after was actually a very good user experience because it was very well researched, because it had to be.
Yeah.
And instead, those sites have been, or those actors, I guess, have been punished when they were actually creating very good content for the web.
It was just some people didn't like it that much.
But then the the real problem actually.
I think uh have by and large skated right through.
No question.
Well, I think it's firstly important to understand that Google is a middleman and they make their money being a middleman.
And there's an agreement that they have with content creators that they will have some essence of fairness so that people are incentivized to create content because they need that content to exist.
And then there are people on the search side, you know, the people that have the knowledge and there are people that want the knowledge.
The middleman that they meet in there is Google.
And so the experience obviously has to be good for the searcher so they can find that knowledge.
But at the same time, they do have to be aware that the people providing that knowledge need to be compensated.
And if they lose that ability to be compensated, they're going to stop creating that content.
