Yeah.

So that's, I know that's coming.

So I'm savoring what I've got.

Yeah.

That's interesting, isn't it?

I feel similar about my childhood that I don't remember missing that.

I didn't have things, you know, like it's not the things, it is the time.

And, and I think,

I do it for selfish reasons.

Like I hope that my children remember it and appreciate it.

But if they don't, I'm doing it because I like it.

I like them.

And it's pretty fun, pretty fun to watch them grow up.

And I would feel like I was missing out.

Now, there are plenty of people who are not cut from that same cloth.

They love parts of it but not all of it, and they'd rather someone else did some of the really mundane stuff because I have to tell you, wiping bums and changing nappies and all those things get really, really monotonous.

So it's perfectly fine if you don't want to stay at home.

Being financially independent doesn't mean you have to do all that extra stuff, but it does mean that you can have the freedom to choose which stuff you do, which I think is probably a bit more of an incentive option.
