Let's talk about drugs.
Let's talk about sex.
Let's talk about all the things that are there so that we know that you can come to us with that big stuff.
And, you know, again, as a parent.
there were conversations I didn't want to have.
Like I was like, oh, talk about this.
I'm uncomfortable, but I'm like, I have to stretch a bit to make it safe enough for you to bring these things to us.
And, you know, that's made dad and I grow as well.
And, you know, there was no way I was having those conversations with my parents, you know, because it just wasn't really done at that time.
And I think we wanted to, to just make it safe enough for you to bring whatever you needed to bring.
So, you know, that we accept and love you.
And it wasn't this taboo thing that was like uncomfortable, scary to bring up, you know, that if something was to occur.
I think it was also, you know, when we were younger and starting to do things and go to parties and stuff, it was always the conversations beforehand as well.
It was the, hey, if this is going to go down, how do you think you'd navigate that situation?
I remember role-playing scenarios being like.
Yeah.
do you remember the time we roleplayed this scenario?
It's like, okay, let's say you're kissing a boy.
Do you remember this?
And I'm like, and what do you do if, you know, if he wants to kiss you?
