Mike and I don't camp and he like would live in the bush if he could so I reckon that's probably one of his but anyway um yeah okay that's a two-parter that question um I think growing up I think being a teenager definitely what I noticed the most was the friends that were getting punished the most or in trouble the most were the ones that would push the boat out the most so it was the more that they'd push up against their parents that they would then act out and they'd sneak out and they'd do all these different things
when I didn't feel the need to do those things.
I mean, I still pushed the boat out and still did things, but I was honest with you about it for the most part.
Emphasis on that.
Yeah, I think it was the more that there was this you're grounded, you stay here, don't do anything, you're in trouble, the more they'd be like, well, you know,
friends over the years has been just the the openness that wasn't had at home you know we have so many people come to our house and just like i have friends who the trick i remember just to sit upstairs and talk to dad and i'm like my turn like can we hang out downstairs but i think it was yeah the openness and the willingness for i think it's a willingness for conversations and to have those hard conversations because i can see from the parents point of view that it would be tricky especially when you haven't done this before to then start implementing something new would be
a whole new world.
But I think it was, yeah, just the openness of, and the willingness to understand and to hear them out.
I think it also makes sense because it is a different world now.
And, you know, we've often had conversations where you're like, I don't understand that because we didn't have that, or it looks different now.
But I think it's the willingness to sit down and be like, tell me all the slang words.
What does this mean?
What does that mean?
And trying to connect and find that common ground.
But I guess in terms of
Growing up for us.
I don't know.
I think... Do you want to take that?
I don't know.
Yeah, it's tricky.
