You know, now, and they didn't have contraception.

Yeah, yeah.

Yeah, so you can see why that they were the way they were out of survival, just out of survival and out of how to stay safe.

And it's interesting, isn't it, like where we are again at this point in history where we're actually going, yeah, no, that doesn't serve me.

I don't want that anymore.

It's not about giving to everybody else all the time.

You know, I have to be, I'm going to be really discerning about my energy, about what I say yes to.

And, you know, we've chatted about this too.

There's something about going through perimenopause that just makes you give no shits anymore.

You're just like, if you didn't have boundaries before, then wait, everybody, this is the time where it locks in because you just, there's no filter anymore.

It's woken up.

Yeah, yeah.

And there's no filter to be like sweet and kind and loving.

I mean, there is.

We're still sweet and kind and loving, right?

But you're not fueled by that, I need to keep everyone else happy.

It's a more pleasing element.

Yeah.

That's been a big one for me that's helped shift it for me.
