My uh son had twin boys, as you know, back in April. low-confidence

All the nurses and the doctors and everyone that was involved and and taking care of our two little boys was just low-confidence

Uh good afternoon, Mayor.

Commissioner Ben Rogers, acting assistant city manager.

So as the city manager alluded to, um, we're just gonna give a brief update on City Hall and seek Commission feedback on some next steps.

We were last with the city commission to uh provide an update in January of this year where we did a conference presentation at the first meeting in January and followed that up with a uh conversation during the goal setting meeting.

Uh before we get into it, I did want to also highlight some of the demolition efforts that went into this project.

Um it was about a year ago, May 7, 2024, is when we did the uh time capsule unveiling um and found uh what was left for us uh many years ago.

Uh we then uh relocated a lot of the assets with inside the building uh and started the demolition process.

It took about 12 months to

complete uh and you can see the image there today of the current site.

Uh it's fenced off with grass and a project information board.

Some fun facts, uh there's about thirty two thousand tons of concrete as part of the demolition.

Uh eighty percent of the materials were recycled.

Uh, why the building was vacated, we used it as a public safety training site.
