Uh so they did some drills and some some tasks inside the building.
And then there was uh about a hundred and twenty concrete pilings underneath the building, some of them up to forty five feet deep.
So if I can ask the IT team to help real quick, I've got a quick uh video to highlight the demolition process.
You know, I think it's important to highlight those type of things and and capture it in video 'cause uh a lot of hard work, a lot of effort went into that.
Um uh to get us where we are today.
So in January, we talked about some things that the city staff were working on.
We talked about an owner's representative uh uh initiative uh where we issued a solicitation in November.
We closed that uh solicitation in January.
There were seven proposals that received that the evaluation committee have gone through.
Um in March they uh did presentation, heard presentations from those uh
top listed proposers and they've recommended uh Jacobs project management as the uh consulting firm.
Right now we're currently in negotiations to get the finalized agreement and we're hoping that we can bring it to the city commission uh the summer of twenty twenty five.
So part of that uh scope um that they would be delivering is a task order based approach.
So we wouldn't be committed to a dollar figure or a set um set of deliverables, um, but rather in the five different construction phases there's different elements that they would help uh the city staff uh move through.
I've heard a lot of input and a lot of questions about how big will the building be, what will be in the building.
Um these are some of the tasks that we'll we'll lean on them to help us with, uh with their knowledge and expertise in dealing with other city hall projects and other municipal uh government sites.
Yes, and each and again each phase will have a task order that we would we would issue and so we can define and limit what the scope of their service would be in each different phase.
Um the next thing that we're working on right now is the design criteria package.
The design criteria package solicitation has not been released yet.
We wanted to provide the commission with an update before, but we are ready to move forward.
