Should that be the direction?
The design criteria package has two separate tasks associated with it, and each one of those tasks has the deliverables there.
On the project definition, what's being asked is that the design criteria package consultant would come up with three different concepts.
So three different kind of layouts of what the building could or couldn't look like.
And then we would narrow it down to one design concept and have them advance that through the design process.
With the end goal being a 30% design that would be our our foundation for a design build or whatever the next step would be in the construction process.

Uh again, it has a an array of tasks and deliverables, but these are things that we've asked.
to make sure that the uh responding proposals take into consideration, things that we feel are important to us as a city, making sure that we have you know the public at the forefront, that we have meeting spaces, that we have cultural and arts elements, that we have uh public space that can can host public meetings and foster civic in uh interactions.
Uh and the building massing again is still needs to be determined, but right now, based off of the ULI report, we have 350,000 square feet in here uh with 800 plus employees.
That breakdown is about 350 square feet per employee, which is the uh ULI recommendation.
And then it had about 70,000 square feet in the uh on the floor plan for the commission chambers, for meeting spaces, customer service areas.
paying your bills, uh things like that.
these are all these are all wish list things, but these were things that we wanted the uh respon the proposers to keep in consideration as they're responding to our uh if we put this design criteria package out, things that are important to us to make sure that we incorporate into uh the design of the building.
Yeah, I mean this list was to really illustrate the public outreach that we did through the reimagining city hall.
I know the commission's provided vile uh feedback along the way and so we just want to memorialize that in our design criteria package solicitation so that way the uh the consulting firms that respond understand our priorities.
Uh the anticipated timeline where we're at now, uh we you know we did the uh reimagined city hall outreach, so that's been completed, got the foundation, got the ULI, got uh the infrastructure task force uh feedback and and uh others.
Uh as you saw we did the dem completed demolition uh the middle of twenty twenty five.
And we have got the owners rep r uh RFQ that is currently being evaluated with uh hopefully uh
an item for the city commission sometime this summer.
