Where that leaves us again is we're at the design criteria package RFQ, RFP phase.
Uh so if we move forward with releasing that, that would be uh probably the next four to six months of of the this calendar year.
And then we bring back a recommendation for an award.
And at that point we would start the design criteria package with the design firm.
Uh we put in here twelve to fifteen months as kind of the timeline for the design criteria package.
That's what we utilized or that's what we had in the joint government center effort.
But until we put the design criteria package out and we get the information back from the proposals, that's just the placeholder of our timeline.
Understand the concerns and I think that's one of the reasons that we're here today is to seek the commission feedback.
We continue to move this forward as a city led project so that way we we don't uh stumble or don't wait for something to happen.

the city commission provides directions they want to go through a different process, a solicited P three, an unsolicited P three, that would change the service delivery.
And so right now staff's prepared to move forward with the design criteria package pending your direction.

Uh a a funding overview.
Um, you know, we we have some seed money in this uh project.
Uh we anticipate putting another million dollars in it, so we'll have a balance close to ten million dollars for uh next fiscal year.
Uh we do anticipate that between the owners rep and the design criteria package that utilizing majority of those funds, if not all.
Uh we do have a community development block grant that the city commission has heard about in the past and I'd like to take a second to invite Chris Cooper up to tell you where we are on that process and and how that uh review is going.
In addition, uh since our last meeting in January we started initial conversations with our financial uh consultant as well on looking at different structuring if we need to um have long term loans or debt uh for this building.
So we've reached out, we've done some uh initial exploration on federal grants and federal loans.
