And Zephyr John creates some of the latest swings on his forcing fastball and baseball, second to only Tyler Rodgers, actually the submariner.
So kind of a weird way for him to operate, but he's a really fun pitcher in that respect.
The big thing is just getting the walk right down.
You know, I think if you ask anybody who's maybe more old school in the pitching standpoint of what they'd want in a reliever from a bullpen standpoint, they're just going to say a guy who throws strikes.
The more modern thinking is I just want a guy who generates mists.
so zephyr john definitely aligns with the angle of i just want miss as opposed to the walk side of things he walked i think this season's walk rates were around like 14 which is pretty high for a reliever and that's kind of the angle that i'm fascinated to see how tommy hadavi tyler zombrow some of the other pitching minds in the organization attack how do you get that down to 11 10 is it simply just having a better catcher and having better targeting is it
something mechanically they want to play with.
So that's kind of the angle here to watch.
And I think off the bat, you know, maybe he's not a guy they throw immediately into the knife.
I think that they're going to stick with Webb.
It's just purely my gut.
Stick with Webb just for how well he's pitched.
And Zephyr John becomes kind of like your righty killer of sorts, but also is not going to have issues versus lefties.
And then, you know, Palencia is going to come back.
I imagine he slots back into the knives, but I like this,
From the standpoint of you can push some of the names that they were using in the 6th and 7th into earlier roles, and you could use Zephyr John in the 7th, you could use him in the 8th, depending on matchups.
Probably even use him on the 9th, too.
But I think that's Palencia's inning when he comes back, and then you give council options.
