And not backing off that.
Again, I'll just say, I think it's so important that the players know exactly what's expected.
So when something does go wrong, it's not a, what do you mean that's not what you wanted?
When they know everything's in front of them, they know what the system is.
In practices, you're going to have to do a lot more in D zone stops and starts.
play D zone, but when you hear the whistle, everyone needs to hammer on the brakes because you know someone's out of position.
You're going to have to spend a lot of time, and that's what they've been talking about.
Even as they hire Manny and talk about filling out his coaching staff, it doesn't have to be if it's a guy with experience, great.
If it's someone younger, that's fine too.
The most important thing is
is getting guys in there that have energy, that are committed to understanding that this is going to take a while.
And if you are running the D or running the power play or the PK, the numbers might not be great, but everyone in the organization knows what's going on.
And as long as that penalty kill or that power play looks good,
completely different at the end of the year than it did at the start in a positive way well that's how you gain your or gauge your success this year but it's about putting the right people in the right spots that that have an energy and a love for teaching not just expecting the guys to know what they're doing because they're in the nhl landon great stuff as always man thanks for your time uh enjoy your getaway and we'll chat with you again next week
All right.
Sounds good, everyone.
