Like when life starts getting a bit hard, tough, my pants start getting a bit tight, I sign up for a fight and it just pulls me in line.
Yeah, yeah, well, I wasn't too sure what the plans were.
Like, I just take fight by fight.
And, you know, there was a bit of talk in the press conference around Savannah Marshall because she's always been my dream fight and she's been, like, the person that I've always looked up to, admired, and wanted to share the ring with her.
Like, that would be a cool fight.
But now that I'm in the position I am now,
I don't think it would be the smartest move to take that fight now, like if I'm thinking career-wise and moving forward.
But it's still a fight that I want before I hang up the gloves.
But my team, we've all been like,
Yeah, yeah, we have a little bit more negotiation power.
And also I think just with my team itself, because we were just kind of chucked together, we just took the opportunity.
We kind of didn't really negotiate much.
It was pretty much, yep, yep, let's just get the opportunity, make the most of it.
Now we're going to sit down and really kind of map it out, and I think I've got the right people in my corner now to kind of โ
get that support in terms of even getting some sponsorship on board because Shane was the only person that had given me anything.
But just for that last camp, everything else was my mum and dad's pension.
So it was like I was just making ends meet, my family, you know, we're blessed to live on a farm, home kill and have our own vegetables in the garden.
My parents are real supportive.
They said I didn't have to pay board while I'm fighting, so that's good.
Things are changing for the girls, I think.
