done long story short i you and i kind of started the process by the time i had a full draft you had already offered and i was unable to send it to the other agent which is good because she had joined your agency and you'd started a damn podcast together

And then I worked on a novel because I was like, okay, I have a book of me, but do I have a novel in me?
And I wrote a novel and we worked on that for a while.
And it got pretty close, pretty darn close.
But it was not to be.
