We keep saying that.

But it did seem a little bit more optimistic than it has in the past, at least.

over the weekend.

Yeah, but look, the main thing here is that it looks like it's going to continue driving markets.

We've seen it with, you

equity markets with commodity prices.

So oil prices have actually lost around 5%.

So if we look at what the energy sector is doing today, it's down by around 2.5%.

So some of those big stocks within that sector like Karun, Woodside, Santos, they're all on the losers list.

In fact, Karun is doing absolutely worst, down 5.7%.

And that's on those hopes that potentially they could come to a deal.

And that

could potentially lead to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

I think I read something that it could be open within 30 days, but you never know.

I don't know if that's going to happen.

A bit too optimistic, perhaps.

And the oil price peaked at close to 120 at the peak of all of this conflict, but at the moment trading around 97 US per barrel.

So it's come down quite a bit since that peak.

Now, in contrast to the sharp losses that we've seen from some oil and gas producers, we've actually seen gains from coal miners today, which has somewhat offset what could have been a bigger fall in the energy sector if they weren't higher.

So today, coal miners, including Whitehaven Coal, Yan Coal, New Hope, they've all been on the winner's list as China's coke and coal futures prices surged by nearly 8%.
