But it does come
against the backdrop of some very tragic news out of China, where a gas explosion at a major coal mining hub last Friday killed 82 people.
So that was the country's deadliest mining accident in more than a decade.
And the disaster has raised concerns about potential supply disruptions, and that's essentially pushed coal prices higher and in turn, coal stocks sharply higher as well.
Singapore-based Telco to us has extended last week's more than 60% plunge.
That was the absolute worst performer last week.
And this is after it terminated its $1.5 billion plans to merge with another Telco company called M1, which would have created a
the third largest in Singapore, if that deal went ahead.
And of course, this is after regulators raised concerns about the proposed merger.
Today, it got a target price cut by 50%.
So it's just continuing to go downhill today, down by 4%.
And Guzman has caught my eye once again today.
It's gained 16.5% over the course of last week.
It was the best performer.
And this is on the back of investors cheering its restaurant expansion plans and also welcomed the company's decision to shut its loss-making US business to focus on its stronger Australian operations.
So on the back of all that today, it's received several target price lifts from a number of different brokers with notes saying
seeming optimistic about its plans to exit the United States.
So Guzman up again very slightly today, but as I said, it was the best performer last week.
Something to keep our eyes on.
So looking ahead from here, we do have US markets shut for Memorial Day.
