Every year I'd meet her.
She was like my second mom.
And so we meet at this restaurant when I get home and she looks at me, she goes, you look like Laura.
She goes, your hair looks like a rat's nest.
She goes, you're one of us.
I can tell.
You're an alcoholic.
You need to get sober.
You're going to die.
And I was like, okay, can we just order the guac?
But that was kind of my bottom.
I could not go out in the world with bad hair.
That was it.
