And so when I went back to LA, I was staying on my sister's couch.

And I would just walk to these recovery meetings, these 12-step meetings.

And I would just listen.

And at the beginning, I would go in and out.

I would go in.

I'd get a few weeks sober.

And then I'd be like, I could have a glass of wine.

And I couldn't, you know, I remember I walked into a meeting one day and there was a greeter and she said, hi, like, how are you?

And I said, oh, I just relapsed.

But, you know, I'm back.

And she goes, you know, Laura, I just buried a bubbly blonde 22 year old because she OD'd in the bathtub.

You're not too young.

You're not invincible.

This disease will take you out and it will kill you.
