What do you think of that?

I think it depends what someone means about ego.

I think we all have shadow parts.

I think we all have different drivers for the things that we do.

I think control can come from wanting to be bigger, more powerful, you know,

the one in control I suppose but yeah it's it's an interesting one because it depends on why someone finds themselves using drugs but for me the overwhelming majority and I think you'll probably see it as well the overwhelming majority of people who use substances is to escape something really painful within them

So unless we're speaking about someone who, like this man that you're saying, like used gambling and drugs, unless that was used for like, you know, status or, I just, for me, what I see anyway, more often is that people find themselves in addiction because of pain, because of mental health struggles.

Can ego exist in that?

I can't say no or yes, because everyone's completely different, but

I just think it's important that we stand on it from a kind of the overwhelming majority of people are good people.

Like, you know, humans are, I think, inherently good, inherently capable of change.

And yeah, can anything coexist?

Yes.

You know, but I think to bring, yeah, that's probably where I stand on it.

Yeah.

What did you take from Ego?

gotcha the ego as a survival thing like let me let me grow big but honestly what I see under that story is pain like before the the ego there came like what if I'm not funny enough do you know yeah so under this pain and then that these people wouldn't want to be my friend because I'm going to be invited to a house party and I wasn't in great form
