Are we really clear on that?

Alignment around strategy, your plan to actually get there.

And strategy to me, as I mentioned earlier, knowing what to do is pretty straightforward for the most part.

That's only 3% of the equation.

97% is actually executing on it.

So you've got vision, you have your strategy.

Now we need to get the team right.

And collectively, that leadership team is there.

So the number one job of the CEO to me is to continually responsibly increase the value of their business.

So by proxy, the senior leadership team and really all the leaders in the organization collectively is to work together as effectively as they can to increase the value of the business.

Start there, like that philosophically, that's what I believe.

And I've walked into so many rooms, senior leadership teams, why are you here?

Like each one of you, why are you having this senior leadership meeting every week?

And I never once have gotten the answer to work together to collectively increase the value of the business.

So I just want to see what's going on.

I'm going to report out the financials.

I'm going to do this.

They're missing the foundational premise and why they're there.

So once we get that, you can go down another layer and I call it the management operating system layer.

How do we know that everybody's creating the value they were designed to create?
