and we become, I call it a super coach, because rather than walking in and kicking them to get them going in the morning and always following up on things that aren't done, we know we're doing it right with the right environment, developing people, the right team, when they're one or two steps ahead of where you thought they would be, and then you get to add in, again, I call it a super coach way to drive it even faster.

Then we can think about, okay, now that my team is really good at executing at this level and continually increasing and improving,

What can we do to change it up a little bit to where it could be a development program, it could be another product or service, it could be a partnership.

We start to think that way rather than being worried about is this leg going to fall off the business over here.

So it's this ongoing journey.

One thing I would say is if you don't love what I just said, like all of the things going great, things not going great, the leg ready to fall off, this is the job.

And I think you should love that, because it's never gonna, and how many leaders out there, when things don't roll out perfectly, they get upset, they act like a victim, I can't believe this is happening.

Well, if it was perfect every single day, why would I need a leader?

I've never had a perfect day, so love the journey, love the struggle,

There's something I refer to, I call it the value creation cycle.

And people ask me, hey, where'd you get your start?

I said, well, I was six years old pulling weeds for 25 cents an hour in the mid 60s.

And it was a neighbor that flagged me down on my bike and I didn't know her.

And it felt so good.

I earned my own money.

So then I struggled to get other capabilities.

I'm shoveling snow, mowing lawns, one paper route, four paper routes, dishwasher, busboy, cook.

By the time I'm kicked out of the house at the beginning of my senior year in high school,

I could already afford my own apartment.

I only had to spend one night in my truck and I was good.
