It's a bit like a Craig David song.
But you can still have face-to-face banking, but you can still go in and withdraw money and do certain transactions.
And they've been a relative success.
And actually, the first banking hub that opened was in Rochford in Essex, which is where I grew up.
I've never been in there because I've not really been back to Rochford since I grew up there.
But that's when I opened the first one.
And it's just celebrated its five-year anniversary today.
And there's now 236 banking hubs across the country.
It's going to hit 250 by the end of the year.
And I was quite shocked to realize that Barclays now has just 206 branches across Britain.
That is a very small number.
And it was hinting at reopening some branches.
So maybe it's gone too much too quickly.

Yeah, okay, you might not use your bank that often.
But it is nice to know that you have got a bank branch around, I think.

in which to kind of keep them more viable and more attractive for example Santander has these work cafes there's one in Kensington where you can go in it's like a coffee shop mixed with a bank I think ideas like that kind of work and it's good to try and keep banking presence throughout I think we're at the I'm sure we're at the bottom now I can't imagine many more bank branches going to go from here
Because all I hear from people was this bank branch is shut down.
