I'm going to go to Nationwide, for example.
Nationwide has been a big success.
The latest current account switching figures show.
And it has actively cited the fact that it's vowed to keep almost 700 branches open until the end of the decade as a big reason for that.
Because people still want to know that they've got a bank branch open.
if they need it.
And the banking hub, so the exclusive stats that were given to me was seven in 10 Britons now know what a banking hub is.
167 transactions take place every day across each banking hub.
Acton is the busiest with 450 transactions per day.
That's quite a lot.
That's 95% of customers' cash and banking needs were met in a banking hub.
And they've been deemed positive.
Nine in 10 customers would recommend their local ones
last year there were two more than two million withdrawals in them um there was uh almost 350 000 business deposits uh in these banking hubs so they are still they're filling that gap they're crucial for the community i think it's still crucial to have a banking presence and i think it's interesting how it's going there's a big list here i'm not going to read all of this list out but there's a list of where they're targeting next and you can go and find it on our website if you just go and search in the bar banking hubs you'll be able to find it
But at least there is still a presence.
I still think it would be have more bank branches of individual banks.
But I guess this is the next best thing.
I'm a fan of them.
The one in Kensington is always busy.
There's lots of people with laptops in there doing work.
