I'm not getting in an argument with the packing here.

I've being through it all already.

Yeah, spending spending money abroad.

Now, first of all, I'm still, as you probably aren't surprised, bit old school and do like taking physical currency with me when I go away.

The reason for that, uh things like taxis and kind of you know, you have those kind of shops where they're kind of independent and you

don't really know much about them and I kind of get a bit funny about sticking my bank card into places and term payment terminals of shops that I'm not too sure about.

And we have actually written extensively in the past about a Paris Paris taxi scam where basically drivers cover the screen up when you're putting your card in and add a couple of extra zeros onto the journey.

Becomes a complete nightmare trying to get that money back.

Uh we've also written extensively about a a shopping scam in Tenerife where

But basically people have their uh card details taken, all that kind of thing.

So I like to take physical money.

Uh I always order it online in advance, preferably a few days before, because you're going to lock in the best rate.

Uh and one of the clearest examples of I realise that people might not necessarily know about that is that I went into the M and S uh bureau recently having ordered online already, and there were two people in the queue that hadn't ordered and the people in the counter were saying you're

gonna want to order it online here on your phone.

And you can come and pick it up in one minute, but you've got to do it through the phone if you want the better rate.

Um and they were like, that is so bonkers, can't you just give me the better rate?

And I was like, no, you've got to go through and pay through through the actual uh website.

So make sure that you are doing that.

If you don't end up doing that, um make sure you get it uh as better as possible.

So for example, Sainsbury's you can get a better rate if you use your nectacard.
