And according to their data, the seven-month national average is made up of around two and a half months from listing to sale agreed, followed by nearly four and a half months from sale agreed to exchange.

It's crazy.

And in Scotland, which has got a different system, the buyer is legally bound at an earlier stage.

72% of all sales agreed to exchange within three months.

So, much faster, seems like a much easier process.

Seems like in England, it's just got messier and messier, more and more difficult.
