You know, don't let your emotional connection cloud your judgment when you're setting the price.

If you list it too high, it can torpedo your selling strategy.

You might struggle to get viewings.

And picking the right estate agent as well, making sure you get a few different estate agents over.

And I think I mentioned this before, I didn't go with the estate agent valued out of the home we sold for the highest price, nor did I pick the one in the lowest.

I picked the one in the middle because it seemed like the correct price and they seemed to know what they were talking about.

Make sure you really get to grips with what your estate agent is like.

When you're selling a home, you just remove all the knickknacks, photographs, parcel items, all of that kind of stuff you already know.

Potential buyers want to imagine themselves living there.

But I think selling a home is a difficult part of the process.

But I think the next part of the process is actually more frustrating in a way because...

It just feels like there is a lot of time taken.

And again, I speak from experience.

The solicitor that we used felt like they had lots of other property transactions going on.

We didn't feel like the priority.

It felt like they just had too much on and it was quite an annoying kind of thing.

And the very last thing about their property purchase that I'd like to point out here that we've done a story on today.
