But what it is, again, it's just another tax and another kind of hit on people that have strived, people that have worked hard and have given their family, you know, a really good quality of life, potentially through, you know, working hard or being a business owner or whatever it is.

And I really dislike taxes that hit the strivers the hardest.

And this is what it feels like to me, a kind of tax grab.

That's just going to go into the blob of government spending.

And I think it's quite unjust.

Well, I think in this circumstance, I think that, let's say it is lower to £1.5 million, I think the amount of people that will fight back against potential valuations, because I don't understand quite how these valuations are going to work on a property.

Who says that a home is worth £1.5 million?

It's only worth £1.5 million if you can sell it for £1.5 million.

So let's say you list a home for one and a half million pounds.

You might end up selling that home for 1.2 million pounds or 1.3 million pounds.

You are at the mercy of an estate agent that comes around, gives you a valuation, looking at the local area, looking at things like Zoopla and Rightmove to get a kind of barometer of what's happening in the local market and what things are worth.

But that's by no means accurate.

That's by no means to say that house is definitely worth that much money.

And there's talks of drones, drone footage being used, you know, very dystopian kind of methods to value homes.

I just think it just feels incredibly nasty.

If you're going to move goalposts as well on a taxi you've announced, it doesn't kind of...

give confidence in the measure.

And I don't know, I think people, I think you're right, I think people are a bit fed up.

And I think the fact that this money is just going to go into the blob of government spending is quite harsh.

And you talked about it there, actually, the areas that are going to be kind of hit.
