But let's talk about this in a proper fashion though.

Because I think what you have to think about,

is you've got airport lounges and you've got airline lounges.

The two things are quite different.

And what's happened in recent years is that more people have cottoned on to getting into an airport lounge or want to go into an airport lounge because they want to enhance their experience.

They're going on holiday and you can pay a one-off to get into some of these airport lounges, right?

So the airport lounges, you can pay usually around about 50 quid to get in.

Sometimes you can pay about 40 quid if you book online before you go.

And like I did, I got four passes because I signed up for the American Express Preferred Rewards gold card, which is free for the first year.

Then you pay £195.

The reason why I opened that card is because I use it for collecting Avios.

There was an Avios member bonus, which you can then use to put towards flights.

You have to be really careful with the card though, because it comes with an 85.8% APR on it.

You have to pay that card off in full every month.

If you're someone that's not going to pay that card off in full every month, never open that account.

because absolutely any Avios that you're going to collect or any lounge passes you're ever going to get are going to be wiped off by one month of interest if you forget to pay the bill.

So you have to ensure that.

But what that gets you is access to some airport lounges at various airports.

It gets you into this Priority Pass, but you've got Priority Pass and you've got Dragon Pass.

And what they offer is hundreds of lounges run by operators worldwide.
